Avocado Toast with Poached Egg

 


Ingredients:

  • 2 slices whole grain bread

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 2 eggs

  • Salt and pepper

  • Optional: chili flakes or lemon juice


Instructions:

  1. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.

  2. Mash avocado with a pinch of salt, pepper, and optional lemon juice. Spread on toast.

  3. Poach eggs in simmering water for 3-4 minutes for a runny yolk.

  4. Place poached eggs on top of avocado toast, sprinkle with chili flakes if desired, and serve immediately.
